The victim in our film is a teenage girl as teenage girls are traditionally portrayed as being more vulnerable and a good target for a killer. The fact that she is home alone also adds to the victims susceptibility. This is similar to the female victim in Cloverfields, Deja Vu and Psycho.
Our killer is a slightly older teenage boy, who has a particular motive in killing this defenseless teenage girl. His motive is to take revenge on his younger sister's killers of the same age.

Ideas for Plot line
Our plot is based around a death that happens in a time before the film is set. The death is of a young girl who was murdered by a group of friends, who got away without any punishment as the death was deemed an accident. But now the older brother of the girl who was killed is set on getting his revenge against this friendship group. This is supposed to be the first time he has murdered somebody as he is still only a teenager, but the audience will want to find out whether he goes on to kill again, whether he gets caught and find out why he is committing these acts of murder on young girls.

Ideas for plot- Setting
We used the setting as being indoors because it is claustrophobic, and victim cannot escape it so easily. Seems like they are in the comfort of their own home. Setting will be divided between the bedroom and the kitchen. We decided to place the killing scene in the kitchen as the victim was undertaking a normal, every day activity, this makes everything seem normal and secure. The appearance of the killer dramatically changes this situation.
Another place where our action takes place is a bedroom of the killer. In the flashback his activities also seem rather trivial, but we know from the previous flashbacks that he is in some way disturbed. The trivial events show hi normal nature- which makes him seem even more dangerous as you never know how dangerous a normal person could be.

Inspiring and influential directors
Our primary source of inspirations were productions like se7en, memento, derailed and LOST. We consider them as the best movies with thriller elements we saw so far. They are examples of successful genre mixture, for example LOST is a adventure thriller, Se7en is crime thriller. We have noticed that adding the thriller conventions can dramatically improve the movie's style and engage viewers even more. However those and many more movies would not become the icons without directors that we want to focus on in this post. The director of LOST is J.J. Abrams, young however experienced director and producer. By his filmography we can infer that he is a incredible emotion builder. Movies like Armageddon, Cloverfield and Forever Young touched hearts of thousands people around the world keeping them stunned until the end subtitles. Except Lost and Joy Ride, his movies do not have much to do with thriller genre but if we watch LOST, if we step into dangerous however beautiful island and stay there for longer we will certainly notice all his skills from other movies combined into one super-production that in addition is breathtaking thriller that whole world admires. Moreover high class of genre mixture is a great example to follow and engages fans of all genres.
Next director is David Fincher Known for his dark and stylish thrillers, such as Seven(1995), The Game (1997), Fight Club (1999), Panic Room (2002), and Zodiac (2007).
His first and a biggest success was Seven that grossed hundreds millions dollars worldwide, Seven was a commercial success and received positive reviews from the critics.
As crime thriller, the protagonists and viewers are never fully sure what is happening. Therefore suspension never disappears. Although he has so far directed only a handful of feature films, David Fincher has quickly become one of Hollywood's most influential directors and a common name in many film fans vocabulary. Most moviegoers became familiar with the name David Fincher after the release of Alien 3, hitting harsh criticism by critics and fans alike. More determined than ever, Fincher approached his next project for New Line Cinema, and dove into the abyss of the criminal psyche, creating one of the most oppressive and morbid thrillers Hollywood had ever seen - Se7en.”
